Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team fell to the No. 5 Generals of Washington & Lee University 23-1 in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at Birdsong Field in Virginia Beach, VA.

GAME RECAP
The Generals controlled a majority of the game recording a 23-1 victory over the Marlins. WLU scored nine goals in the first, six in the second, and four in the fourth, while holding VWU off the scoreboard.
After the Generals scored the first goal of the fourth, Helen Kennedy-Butler scored off the pass from Mikayla Szudera to keep the Marlins from being shutout. Washington & Lee added three more after the Virginia Wesleyan goal to win 23-1.
All three Marlin goals got time between the pipes recording a combined six saves. Kirsten Ivory started the match in goal and got the loss giving up 10 goals. Crystabelle Knight played nearly 24 minutes giving up seven goals while Brittneyann Hoover played almost 18 minutes giving up six goals.
