Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team fell to the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College on Wednesday afternoon in ODAC conference action at Birdsong Field in Virginia Beach, VA.

GAME RECAP
Randolph-Macon took the early lead with a pair of goals before the Marlins found their first goal of the game off a shot from Helen Kennedy-Butler eight minutes into the contest. Ten minutes later the Marlins knotted the score at three all following a second goal from Kennedy-Butler as well as a goal from Mikayla Szudera. The Yellow Jackets went on a run scoring nine goals to take a 12-3 lead with just over six minutes left in the half. Virginia Wesleyan answered with three goals in the final six minutes while RMC added an additional three putting the score at 15-6 at the halftime break. The three Marlin goals came from Kennedy-Butler, Kayla Gush, and Camryn Gavula.
The Yellow Jackets opened the second half with four consecutive goals taking a 19-6 with 23 minutes left. Kayla Gush scored her second goal of the game, and last for the Marlins, before RMC closed out the contest with four more goals to win 23-7.
