2016-17 ODAC All-Academic Team
Junior (2016-17): (Indoor) Competed in the 3,000m in the indoor season… Finished ninth in the 3,000m at the ODAC Championship with a time of 11:14.00… Finished third at the ODAC Championship in the distance medley relay, breaking the tape in 13:41.21… (Outdoor) Competed in the 1,500m, 3,000m, 5,000m, 10,000m, and 3,000 steeplechase during the spring… Won the 5,000m at the Mideast Invitational with a time of 19:25.67… Finished sixth at the ODAC Championship in the 5,000m and 3,000m to go with an eighth place finish in the steeplechase.
Before VWU: Set the school record at Currituck County High School in the mile, two mile, 5,000m, 800m, 1,000m, 4x400m relay, and 4x800m relay… Named 2013 Athlete of the Year… 2013 Daily Advance Runner of the Year… NCC Conference Champion for the 800m and mile runs… Honor roll.
