Freshman (2016-17): (Indoor) Ran the 60m and 200m in the indoor season… Posted a time of 8.26 in the 60m at the Vince Brown Invitational… (Outdoor) Ran the 100m, 200m, and 400m… Finished 16th in the 100m at the New Captains Classic & Combined with a time of 12.82… Set a season best in the 400m at the ODAC Championship with a time of 1:01.18.
Before VWU: Earned two track and field letters at Western Branch High School… Eagle Scout… Awarded a certificate of recognition from the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution for outstanding achievement and exceptional leadership and citizenship… Member of the Parent, Teacher, Student Association at Western Branch… Senior class historian… Member of the Order of the Arrow.
Personal: Son of Patrick Sr. and Ronda Berard… Has a sister, Aronji… Mother, Ronda, ran track and field for the University of Southwestern Lousiana (currently Lousiana-Lafayette).
