BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Virginia Wesleyan College's women's lacrosse Marlins outscored host Bridgewater College 10-6 in the second half Sunday to post a thrilling 12-11 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory.

VWC scored twenty seconds into the second half, but Bridgewater answered to move in front 6-3.  Virginia Wesleyan came back strong with four consecutive goals to take a 7-6 lead and start a back-and-both contest to the finish.  Bridgewater tied the game at 11-all, but Virginia Wesleyan took the lead with a little more that three minutes remaining on a shot by Tara Harding.
