Three Marlins Earn All-Conference Honors Following Strong 2026 Campaign

Virginia Wesleyan University men's volleyball saw its success in the 2026 season with an overall record of 22-10, and made it to the semifinals of the 2026 ODAC Championship tournament. The team success was recognized with three All-Conference selections, highlighted by JaMarhe Wills earning First Team honors, Ajaye Davis being named to the Second Team, and Grant Younie collecting Third Team recognition.

Wills put together one of the most dominant offensive seasons in the conference, leading the Marlins with 474 kills while averaging an impressive 4.35 kills per set. He paired that production with a .325 hitting percentage, showcasing both power and efficiency as the centerpiece of Virginia Wesleyan's attack. Wills also contributed across the board with 203 digs and 40 total blocks, finishing the season with a team-high 521 points.

Davis served as the team's primary setter and offensive orchestrator, earning Second Team All-Conference honors after a stellar season running the Marlins' system. He recorded 1,094 assists, averaging nearly 10 assists per set, while guiding an offense that hit .250 as a team. Davis also made his presence felt defensively with 183 digs and added 22 total blocks.

Younie rounded out the trio with a strong all-around performance that earned him Third Team recognition. He finished second on the team with 258 kills, averaging 2.30 kills per set, and contributed 186 digs defensively. Younie added 28 total blocks and over 295 points on the season, proving to be a reliable option in both the front and back rows.
