The Virginia Wesleyan University men's volleyball team was ranked sixth in the 2026 ODAC Preseason poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches. The Marlins earned 35 points, finishing just behind Lynchburg (38) and ahead of Shenandoah (21).
VWU enters the 2026 season after finishing with a 17-10 overall record and 8-4 in ODAC play last spring and made it to the semifinals of the Men's Volleyball ODAC Championship Tournament with four members being named to the 2025 All-Conference team, including;
Christian Harris,
Matthew Sheppard,
JaMarhe Wills, and
Terrell Lee-Roosevelt Taylor.
The Marlins will have their first game of the 2026 season on the road on January 14th against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
