Box Score The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team faced conference opponent Averett University to complete their weekend in Southern Virginia and lost 2-7.
Every doubles match was lost by the Marlins 5-8, to put them at a 0-3 deficit upon entering singles play.
Bevc, Parawa, and Cabaddu lost in close matches in the 1-3 spots.
Alen Curovic claimed an impressive 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 4, while Cam Perry won a second match for the Marlins at No. 6.
Next up, the Marlins will face Randolph College at home on Wednesday, April 19.
