Box Score The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team edged conference opponent Lynchburg College with a 5-4 victory.
Felix Bevc and Alen Curovic secured their third straight win of the weekend at No. 1 doubles. Lynchburg seized victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
Bevc and Curovic continued in winning fashion, claiming decisive wins in singles at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively. Bevc rallied past Levi Vogdorchik putting an end to his eight-match winning streak.
Francis Cabaddu seized a key win for the Marlins at No. 3 singles. Jonas Juetz and Andreas Combos fell at the No. 4 and No. 6 spots respectively, leveling the match at 4-4.
Cam Perry came in clutch with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Alex Rintoul to clinch the match for the Marlins.
Next up, the Marlins will face Virginia State University at home.
