Virginia Wesleyan University's 200 free relay teams went 1-2 with first-place honors going to
Audrey Roberts, Sam Vos,
Sarah Czapp, and
Lauren Hendricks in 1:5148. The second-place team of
Suzanna Fernandez,
Ariana Fletter,
Britni Arrington, and
Erin Beaudry finished in 1:57.54.
Eight different swimmers won individual events. Freshman
Lora Young shined with three personal best times winning the 50 fly in 30.33 and achieving 2nd in the 100 fly with 1:07.10, and 3rd in the 200 free in 2:12.47. Freshman
Chloe Scott swam a lifetime best with her 500 free victory in 5:59.37 and also won the 100 fly in 1:07.08 and achieved 2nd place in the 100 IM with a 1:11.81.
Sophomore Abi Carlson stood out with an impressive three individual wins in the 1000 free in 12:41.91,50 breast in 36.64, and 100 breast in 1:19.63. Junior
Lauren Hendricks dominated two freestyle events by winning both the 200 free in 2:07.27 and the 100 free in 59.01.
Sophomore MK Morris Larkin won the 100 IM in 1:10.69 and swam to two 2nd place finished in the 50 back with 36.17 and 100 breast with 1:22.26. Junior
Audrey Roberts starred in the sprint backstroke event winning the 50 in 31.92 and achieving 2nd in the 50 free in 28.15.

Erin Beaudry made her mark in the 100 back by winning the event in 1:10.50 and achieving 2nd in the 1000 free in 13.00.28.

Sarah Czapp shined in the sprint free event winning the 50 in 27.12 and placing 3rd in the 50 fly in 31.62.
Six additional swimmers significantly contributed to the Lady Marlins' victory with key place points. Senior Sam Vos swam to two 2nd place finishes in the 50 fly with 31.27 and 100 free with 1:04.16. Junior
Sarah Verbeck achieved 2nd place in the 50 breast in 40.67 and swam to 3rd place in the 100 free in 1:08.13. Freshman
