Men's Tennis fall to the Battling Bishops in the 'Battle of the Wesleyans'

ROCKY MOUNT, North Carolina - The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team fell to the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan College 9-0 in a nonconference match in Rocky Mount, NC. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS

  • The Battling Bishops claimed all three doubles matches taking a 3-0 lead into the singles rounds. 
  • Timothy Tep and Henry West scored five against the No. 2 doubles duo for NCWC but fell 8-5. 
  • All six singles bouts went to North Carolina Wesleyan as they claimed a 9-0. 
  • Felix Bevc, Mitchell Perry, and Tim Tep all won four games against their opponents over two sets, but fell 6-2, 6-2 at flights No. 1, 2. & 3 respectively.
