ASHLAND, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon 5-4 in Ashland, VA in their regular season finale. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• The Yellow Jackets took two of three doubles matches, with Alexa Brewster and Anna Rogers claiming the only VWU doubles point at No. 1 with an 8-5.
• In the singles bouts, the Marlins went 1, 2, 3 taking the top three flights, while the Yellow Jackets won the bottom half of the singles flights to claim the 5-4 decision. 
• Brewster only gave up one game at No. 1 to win 6-0, 6-1. 
• Zalameda won 6-1, 6-2 giving up just three games to her opponent at No. 2. 
• Anna Rogers hung on to win at No. 3 singles winning a close match 6-4, 7-5.
