Box Score SALEM, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team defeated Hollins University 9-0 in Salem, VA in an ODAC Sunday matinee.

- The Marlins controlled the pace of the match early on winning all three doubles matches heading into the singles bouts.
- Maya Brown and Christine Zalameda fought hard at No. 1 doubles and held on to claim an 8-6 win over the duo from Hollins.
- Alexa Brewster and Taylor Saunders won at No. 2 8-2, while Anna Rogers and Celeste Rucker won 8-0 at No. 3.
- In the singles bouts, the Marlins went on to sweep all six matches to win the match 9-0.
- Brewster only gave up one game at No. 1 to win 6-0, 6-1.
- Zalameda won 6-2, 6-0 giving up just two games to her opponent at No. 2.
- Kristina Abrams won at No. 3 singles by a score of 6-2, 6-2.
- Kaitlyn Totman, who played at No. 4 singles, won 6-1, 6-0, giving up one game.
- Amanda Stegemann won at No. 5 singles 6-3, 6-0, while Maya Brown won 6-1, 6-4 at no. 6.
