Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team defeated the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney College 8-1 in an ODAC contest at the Everett Tennis Center in Virginia Beach, VA.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The Marlins claimed two of the three doubles matches taking a 2-1 lead into the singles rounds.
- Both winning teams for VWU in the doubles rounds won by a score of 8-3, including Felix Bevc and Mitchell Perry at No. 1 and Sai Challagundla and Dheeraj Koritala won at No. 3.
- All six singles bouts went to Virginia Wesleyan as they claimed an 8-1 victory.
- Bevc gave up just three games to his foe at No. 1 winning 6-1, 6-2, while M. Perry went 6-3, 6-4 to win at No. 2.
- Tep had a perfect match at No. 3 singles holding his opponent scoreless at 6-0, 6-0.
- Francis Cabaddu had a slightly more challenging set winning at No. 4 singles 6-3, 7-5.
- Henry West won in three sets with a score of 3-6, 6-3 , 6-1 to claim the toughest flight.
- Camden Perry won the No. 6 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 decision to give the Marlins their fourth ODAC win.
