LYNCHBURG, Va. - Marlins Men and Women Swim teams traveled to Lynchburg, VA, on Saturday, October 15
th to take on the WildCats of Randolph College and the Seahawks of St. Mary's College of Maryland. The Women's team picked up their first win of the season, with one team record by freshman
Abigail Carlson in the 1000 freestyle (12:28.61).
MEET RESULTS
The men's team had a narrow loss to Randolph College but the freshman had a strong showing, taking home three new team records. Freshman
Cael Long broke the record in the 200 individual medley (2:04.73) and the 100 breaststroke (1:04.13). Freshman
Logan Schohn also broke a record in the 1000 freestyle (11:13.41).
The Marlins won both men's and women's 50 freestyle, with
Audrey Roberts coming in first with a time of 26.96, and
Luke Bukowski coming in first with a time of 23.74.
Other first-place finishes were completed by freshman MK Morris Larkin in the 200 IM with a time of 2:35.78,
Kelsey Kisner in 100 butterfly with a personal best time of 1:05.88,
Chloe Dewberry in the 100 back (1:08.24), and
Lauren Hendricks in the 500 free (5:53.83).
The women also took a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, with a quad of

The Marlins have their first home meet coming up on October 29 against Gallaudet University at the Natatorium in the Jane P. Batten Student Center at 5 PM.
