FIRST HALF

• The Marlins struck first in the 18th minute as Carleigh Van Reenen scored off a pass from Breacain McClenahan putting VWU on the board 1-0.
• Neither team found the back of the net the remainder of the first half as the Marlins took a 1-0 lead into halftime. 

SECOND HALF

• Twenty minutes into the second half the Marlins found a second goal off the foot of McClenahan who scored off a pass from Emma Acanfora giving VWU a 2-0 lead. 
• Again after the Marlins goal neither team was able to score resulting in Virginia Wesleyan winning 2-0.
• VWU tripled their foes number of shots taking six to SU's two.

KEY STATS

• Breacain McClenanhan led the Marlins with four shots in the match, two coming on goal, including the second VWU score.
• Carleigh Van Reenen recorded two shots with one resulting in the first VWU goal.
