The Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team had six Marlins named Academic All-District by the CSC (College Sports Communicators); including Autumn Horst, Alexis Manfredi, Courtney Mills, Emma Nguyen, Alex Ortega, and Kaylyn Seitz. 

Alex Ortega played all 21 games for the Marlins on defense. She led the team playing 1568 minutes. Ortega was a vital part of the Marlins' defense, contributing to one of the best defenses in the region. 

Kaylyn Seitz played 19 games and started 18 for the Marlins this season as a focal point of attack. She had 5 goals and 3 assists, totaling 13 points.

Emma Nguyen played in 21 games and started in nine for the Marlins as a key part of the midfield. She tallied one goal and one assist with five shots this season.

Autumn Horst played in 22 games and started in 20 for the Marlins in midfield. She registered one goal on 14 shots for VWU this season. 

Alexis Manfredi played in 22 games and started in 17 for VWU. She was second on the team in goals with seven and had one assist, totaling 15 points on the year. 

Courtney Mills played in 22 games and started in two for the Marlins. She recorded four goals and two assists, to come in fifth on the team in points with 10.
