Six Marlins Named to All-Conference Team

The Virginia Wesleyan Women's Soccer team have had an impressive season so far with six Marlins being awarded to ODAC All-Conference Teams. Grayson Yeager and Victoria Mills were named All-ODAC First Team, Shyenne Diaz and Alex Ortega were selected to the All-ODAC Second Team, and the Third Team All-ODAC honorees for the Marlins are Kaylyn Seitz and Stephanie Koblish.

Grayson Yeager was a standout for the Marlins defensive unit with opponents only scoring 13 goals against the squad this season. Yeager started and played 18 games for the Marlins at defensive mid-field, totaling 1275 minutes.

Victoria Mills played in all 21 games for the Marlins this season and started in 18. Mills was a key part of the Marlins' defense, contributing to the .62 opponent goal average, which ranks the Marlins second in the league. 

Shyenne Diaz played in 20 games and started in 17 for the Marlins. Diaz led the team in points, scoring 9 goals and 3 assists. She had 4 game-winning goals this season, putting her 4th on the ODAC leaderboard. 

Alex Ortega played all 21 games for the Marlins on defense. She led the team playing 1568 minutes. Ortega was a vital part of the Marlins' defense, contributing to one of the best defenses in the region. 

Kaylyn Seitz played 19 games and started 18 for the Marlins this season as a focal point of attack. She had 5 goals and 3 assists, totaling 13 points.

Stephanie Koblish had a great season on the Marlins' defense. She played 18 games for the Marlins and scored a goal and an assist while primarily contributing to the impressive defensive unit.
