LEXINGTON, Virginia- The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team fell in the ODAC semifinals after dropping five matches to the top seeded Generals of Washington & Lee.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Audrey Bally and Alexa Brewster won two games at No. 1 doubles falling 8-2 to Taylor Garcia and Margaret Carlton.
• No. 2 doubles pair Christine Zalameda and Anna Rogers and No. 3 doubles pair Sophia Bibbo and Shannon Lewes both fell 8-0 to their respective opponents. 
• WLU won No. 1 and No. 4 singles to reach match point and sweep the Marlins 5-0. 
• Brewster took two games against Garcia at No. 1 but fell 6-0, 6-2, while Rogers dropped her singles match 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.

The Marlins season comes to an end in the ODAC semifinals. VWU will return in the fall for the fall season.
