Box Score NORFOLK, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Norfolk State University on Wednesday afternoon. The Marlins had traction in doubles, taking the top spot 6-4. At #3 doubles, Michael Portera and Connor Cummings were down a break of serve late in the set at 5-4. Making all of their returns against NSU's Ibrahim Abbas, the Marlin #3 went up love/40, earning 3 break points to level the set at 5-5. In the end the NSU team executed and held serve for the 6-4 win, giving the Spartans the double point.
