BRIDGEWATER, Virginia- The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team advanced to the ODAC semifinals after defeating the No. 4 Eagles of Bridgewater College 5-1 in the quarterfinal match. Audrey Bally secured the team win with a pair of 6-1 wins at No. 3 singles.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Audrey Bally and Alexa Brewster got things done at No. 1 doubles picking up an 8-2 win against the doubles team of Kiser and Hoover.
- Christine Zalameda and Anna Rogers took the No. 2 doubles point winning 8-4 over Crawford and Keister.
- Bridgewater's lone point of the match came at doubles No. 3 as Sophia Bibbo and Shannon Lewes dropped their set 8-3.
- The Marlins went on to claim the first three singles matches to win the match 5-1 and advance to the ODAC Tournament semifinals.
- Alexa Brewster took a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles defeating Whitney Kiser. Brewster trailed 4-1 in the first set but rallied back to win7-5. This was the second time Brewster defeated Kiser, as the two met in the fall of 2019 at the Marlin Invitational tournament.
- Zalameda trailed 3-0 in the first set but charged back to win 6-4 in set one and cruised through set two winning 6-1.
- Audrey Bally secured the team victory with a win at No. 3 singles as she picked a pair of 6-1 wins over Rachel Crawford.
