Box Score Virginia Beach, VA - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team earned their 4th win of the season this afternoon at the Everett Tennis Center, defeating visiting Randolph College 8-1. The Marlins jumped out to a pair of 8-4 wins at #1 and #2 doubles positions putting VWU up 5-0 and securing the team win. Randolph only traveled with 4 players, forfeiting #3 doubles and #5/#6 singles.

With match point at 6-0, 5-3, Perry reached out for a ball that rolled over the net, sustaining an injury. After an injury time out, Alvarado reeled off 3 consecutive games. Perry broke serve at 5-5, then served the match out at 6-5 for the 6-0, 7-5 win.
