Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team defeated Bridgewater College 7-2 on Saturday at the Everett Tennis Center. The Marlins went up 3-0 by clinching all 3 doubles positions 8-6, 8-5 and 8-1 respectively. In singles, VWU made quick work at #2, #3, #5 and #6; BC captured #1 and #4 singles.

Felix Bevc improved to 2-1 on the season by defeating Canon Secord and Matthew Gordon 8-6. Perry and Bevc had several match points at 7-4 and 7-5 before finally closing the match out at 8-6.

Henry West teamed up for the first time and defeated BC's Kiser and Elder 8-5.

Freshman
Felix Bevc earned his second straight singles win at #2 singles by defeating BC's Matthew Gordan 6-1, 6-0.
Senior
Anthony Wilson earned his first singles win of the season when he took down Nick Kiser 6-0, 6-1. Wilson dropped two close matches against CNU and Salisbury at #3 singles heading into today's match.
Michael Portera and
Connor Cummings each earned their first singles victory on the season, defeating their opponents 6-2, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-1 respectfully.
