Men's swimming downed by Hampden-Sydney on senior day

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – The Virginia Wesleyan University men's swim team fell to the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney on senior day in Virginia Beach, VA on Saturday afternoon. Tyler Strong was the lone Marlin to win a race en route to a 183-53 win for the Tigers.
 
INSIDE THE MEET
Virginia Wesleyan won one event of the 14 races swam in the dual against the Tigers of HSC. 

Tyler Strong won the 50 Yd backstroke with a time of 29.48. Strong also finished second in the 100 Yd backstroke 1:03.31.

Nathan Viricochea finished second in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and the 200 free relay.

The Marlins return to action in two weeks when they travel to Lynchburg, VA for the 2020-21 ODAC Championships hosted at Liberty University.
