Box Score DANVILLE, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's tennis team fell to the Averett University Cougars 5-4 on Sunday afternoon in Danville, VA. The Marlins found themselves down 0-3 after doubles and almost pulled off the rare 0-3 comeback but fell one match short when junior Anthony Wilson dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision to Averett's Evgeniy Bogdasaryan at #5 singles after being up 4-1 in the 2nd set. The Marlins took #2, #3 and #4 singles, all in 3rd sets after dropping the first set in each.
