Bridgewater, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's swim team suffered two losses on the day, falling to Bridgewater, 119-61, and Hollins, 127-41.

Hayley Heath had a solid outing for the Marlins earning a couple fast finishes. In the 100-meter breaststroke, the junior clocked in with a time of 1:39.17 to earn a fourth place finish. In the 100-meter free, Heath collected a sixth place finish as she turned in a time of 1:12.31.

Miah Kurtz also collected a personal best in the 200-meter free as she touched in at a time of 3:20.07.

Women's swimming will return to action at 5 p.m. on Friday as it will take on Division I-foe Old Dominion University.
