BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's swim team fell, 83-41, to Bridgewater in a dual meet Friday evening. The Marlins go to 3-6 in dual meets on the year.
Stephen Carlo nabbed the Marlins soul first place victory of the day, taking the top spot in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:55.13. Carlo also performed well in the 50-meter free as his time of 28.25 earned him a second place finish on the podium.
Also turning in solid times for VWU were Jake Morgan and Patrick McNeely. Organ earned a second place finish in the 200-meter free as he touched the wall in 2:36.42 seconds. McNeely also finished in the penultimate position as he clocked a 1:10.22 in the 100-meter free.
Men's swimming will return to action at 5 p.m. next Friday as it takes on Division I adversary, Old Dominion University.
