VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The No. 1-seeded Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team completely shut down No. 8 Eastern Mennonite University in a 5-0 victory in the ODAC Quarterfinals Wednesday night.

The Marlins broke through at 32:53 when Mia Meinhardt ripped a shot into the upper 90 for the first score of the match.

VWU added an insurance goal early in the second half when Brooke Adamchak pulled out her big leg, scoring from 35 yards out in the 48th minute.
