Marlins Roll to Victory over Division II Fairmont State

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Virginia Wesleyan College men's tennis team earned a 9-0 decision over DII Fairmont State on Saturday afternoon at the Everett Tennis Center.  

In doubles action the Marlins continue their strong play earning 8-0 wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.  At No. 3 doubles, Drew Tomajczyk and Brenden Kelleher found themselves down 7-2 before regaining momentum and finishing with a 9-8 win.

In singles, the Marlins swept all six matches leading to a 9-0 win. Up next for the Marlins will be regionally ranked Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C. on Friday March 20th at 3:30 pm.
