Virginia Wesleyan University placed six student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, recognizing excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Representing the Marlins were field hockey standouts Ashlyn Boykin, Breanna Gable, and Regan Wells, along with women's lacrosse selections Creelyn Bastinelli, Kenna Duplechin, and Reese Morgenthaler. Ashlyn Boykin earned Academic All-District honors following a strong season anchoring the Virginia Wesleyan defense. Appearing in all 16 contests, she helped guide a young Marlins squad through the 2025 campaign while contributing to a unit that recorded six defensive saves and held opponents scoreless in multiple contests. Her consistency and leadership on the back line were matched by excellence in the classroom throughout the academic year.

Breanna Gable was a key piece of the Marlins lineup, appearing in all 16 games and providing steady play throughout the season. Regan Wells put together a well-rounded campaign for the Marlins and was one of the team's primary distributors in the attack.
