Brianna Long of the Virginia Wesleyan University women's basketball team was named Second Team All-Region by D3Hoops.com. She is the first Women's Basketball player to receive All-Region Accolades since the 2019 season, when Assistant Coach Jayla Harris was playing for Virginia Wesleyan.

Brianna Long had a great year and led the Marlins in scoring, averaging 17.0 points per game (ranked fourth in the ODAC), led the league in field goal percentage at 59.8 percent from the field, and shot 65.6 percent from the free throw line. She was a force in the paint as she was second in the league in rebounds, totalling 328 this year to average 12.8 rebounds a game, with 132 being offensive rebounds. She also registered 12 assists, 48 steals, and 12 blocks.
