Baxley's dedication to creating a well-rounded student-athlete experience is also reflected in her commitment to mentorship and academic development. She has been active in mentoring athletes, facilitating academic meetings, and ensuring that student-athletes maintain a balanced focus on academics and athletics.

"Baylor has shown tremendous dedication to student-athletes and the Hood field hockey program. Her passion for both the sport and her athletes is undeniable, and we are confident that she will continue to elevate Virginia Wesleyan's field hockey program to new heights," said Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Andrea Hoover-Erbig.
