The Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team (5-6, 4-2 ODAC) defeated Bridgewater College 6-1 in ODAC competition.
The Marlins dominated their opponents in doubles winning 6-2, 6-3, and 6-1 at #'s 1-3 respectively to earn the doubles point.

In singles play, the Marlins succeeded in straight sets on courts one through four and on court six. At #5, senior
Grace McGhee led her opponent, Devon Wichael, 5-3 in the first set, but struggled to close, losing the match 7-6 (5), 6-4.
The Marlins improved from their 4-3 win against Bridgewater last year to 6-1 this year. They will continue their ODAC campaign with matches on the road next weekend, April 12-13, against Averett University, Ferrum College, and Guilford College.
