Sainandan Challagundla won his first set over Rithink Manchala at the fifth line in singles, but his opponent battled from behind, winning 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Hovo Madanyan had a set point in his first set against Drew Campbell in the sixth position but did not convert, losing 7-6 (5), 6-4.

At #2 singles, Rafael Rullan Zarraga lost his first set 6-2 and fought hard to level the match, but he fell short in the second set tiebreaker.
