Ester Zar, who earned All-Region accolades for placing 35th at Regionals.
Zar placed 35th overall, running a 6k personal record of 23:23.40, marking one of the highest regional finishes by a VWU freshman in recent seasons. Sophomore Abby Peck added a second PR for the Marlins, placing 51st with a time of 24:02.10, capping a strong sophomore campaign.
