The Virginia Wesleyan women's cross country team put together a determined effort this weekend, led by Ester Zar, who placed 24th overall with a time of 23:31.4, a time that ranks ninth in the VWU Cross Country history books. 

Close behind, Abby Peck earned 54th place, finishing in 24:31.1. Ella Clingenpeel followed with a 108th-place finish at 26:15.8, while Ella Darcy rounded out the Marlins' lineup, taking 148th in 28:15.8.
