The Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team (7-5-3, 7-2 ODAC) defeated the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon in their second to last game of regular season.
Virginia Wesleyan dominated on the offense with 38 shots, 18 of which were on goal.

Shyenne Diaz, and
Lindsey Syms each scored a goal.
The first goal of the game came in the 27th minute of the game as the Randolph-Macon goalie attempted to make a save off a VWU corner kick, but dropped the ball into her own net, awarding the Marlins a goal.
The second half saw the Marlins capitalize on their strong offensive play. In the 57th minute of the game,
Emma Shuey dribbled across the field, shooting between two defenders with a goal that found the left corner of the net to put the Marlins up 2-0. Just eight minutes later,
Shyenne Diaz scored to give the Marlins a convincing 3-0 lead.
Lindsey Syms scored her first career goal with less than ten minutes left in the game to seal the win for the Marlins.
The Marlins will play their final game of regular season at home on Saturday at 5 p.m. against Roanoke College.
