Kris Barnum scored off the faceoff to extend the Marlins' lead back to three at 10-7. Murphy took over and scored two goals in the last five minutes to put the game out of reach of the Panthers at 12-7. The Panthers scored at the 3:14 mark but the Marlins' defense held strong to seal the 12-8 win.
