The Virginia Wesleyan University women's tennis team traveled to Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, on Saturday, March 25.
Despite a tough 0-9 loss against 27th-ranked CNU, the Marlins fought hard across the lineup. Maya Brown won the most games for the Marlins with a score of 2-8 at #3 doubles with partner, Sophia Bibbo, and a close 2-6, 3-6 loss at #6 singles.
Today, the Marlins will face their second in conference opponent of the season, Lynchburg College, at home.
