KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 30, 2023) — United Soccer Coaches announced the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's All-Americans.

Sam Crawford adds to her senior accolades as she was named ODAC Player of the Year, was First-Team All-ODAC, and USC First Team All-Region. Crawford played the most minutes on the team with 1,539 minutes by any field player for the Marlins as she started in all 20 games. Sam Crawford helped the Marlins force 14 shutouts and was a pivotal player for the Marlins as they have the tenth-best defense in the nation, allowing eight goals in 20 games for VWU. 

In her five years as a Marlin, Crawford has had many accomplishments including three straight NCAA Tournament appearances with a Final Four appearance in 2022, a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2023, Two ODAC Tournament Championships, One All-American, being named All-Region three times, three ODAC Player of the Year awards, made All-Conference all five years, received two All-ODAC Tournament teams including the Most Outstanding Player in 2021, and was named 2019 ODAC Rookie of the Year.
