Jordan Crump with 10 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Marlins started off flat-footed as they did not score a point during the opening six minutes while the Quakers went on a 9-0 run.
Anthony Jackson got VWU on the board with a layup to stop GC's run, but Guilford continued to pull ahead taking a 13-point lead, 15-2 at the 10:50 mark. A 10-2 rally by VWU pulled the Marlins within five points, 17-12, as Jackson drained a three-pointer with 8:45 remaining in the first half. The Quakers went on a 15-3 run throughout the remainder of the first half to take a 32-15 lead into the halftime break.
Guilford managed to maintain a double-digit lead throughout the entirety of the second half. VWU came as close as 14 points, 53-39, after a three-pointer by
Eric Rowland at the 8:22 mark. Virginia Wesleyan 32 points throughout the second half but fell 65-47.
