LYNCHBURG, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team won on the road in an ODAC match up on Sunday afternoon against the Hornets from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, VA.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Action began with the doubles teams going against each other with VWU taking all three bouts.
- Felix Bevc and Mitchell Perry paired up at No. 1 doubles and claimed an 8-5 victory over Levi Vigdorchik and Colton Mullins of Lynchburg.
- Francis Cabbadu and Henry West matched up at No. 2 doubles and claimed a closely contested match winning 8-6.
- Cam Perry and Sai Challagundla won at No. 3 doubles allowing their opponents to win just one game, 8-1.
- Moving in to singles action, the Marlins claimed all but one of the six singles bouts to win the match 8-1.
- Bevc had a tough fought battle at No. 1 singles and ultimately fell in three sets, 3-6, 6-4, 0-1 (8-10).
- M. Perry won his match at No. 2 giving up just one game to his opponent, 6-0, 6-1.
- Cabaddu won at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-3, while West won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
- C. Perry gave up two games in each set to win 6-2 .6-2, at No. 5.
- Dheeraj Koritala held his opponent scoreless at No. 6 singles winning 6-0. 6-0.

The Marlins return to the courts again on Friday, April 8th, when they travel south to Fayetteville, NC for a match against the Monarchs of Methodist University. First serve is set for 3 PM.
