NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team dropped an 9-0 decision on the road to No. 25 Christopher Newport University on Friday afternoon.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- VWU dropped all three doubles matches 8-2, 8-6, 8-0 respectively with Timothy Tep and Henry West taking CNU's Bently Goodwin and Ahun Vodela to an 8-6 decision at No. 2 doubles.
- Felix Bevc took on regionally rank Alec Strause (19) at #1 singles but ended up falling 6-3, 6-3.
- Mitchell Perry was the only Marlin to win a set taking one against Ryan Macy at No. 2 singles. Perry fell 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 1-0 (10-5).
- Timothy Tep returned to the line up after studying abroad from his home of Cambodia last year due to COVID.
- A pair of first years entered the singles line ups in Francis Cabaddu and Camden Perry at singles 4 and 6 respectively.
