NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field All-Academic Teams in late July and the Virginia Wesleyan University Women's Track & Field Marlins received recognition. VWU was one of 213 universities and colleges to earn the honor following the 2020-21 academic year. 

In order to be named a USTFCCCA Division III Track & Field All-Academic Team, teams must have a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility of at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale. Virginia Wesleyan came in at 3.1362 for the past academic year making the list for the second consecutive year.
