ASHLAND, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan baseball team fell to the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College on Tuesday afternoon in an ODAC single game in Ashland, VA.

• Virginia Wesleyan began the game with a pair of runs in the top of the first as both Jake Ness and Tyriq Campbell scored giving VWU a 2-0 lead.
• RMC scored a single run in the bottom half of the inning and after a quite second inning added five runs in the bottom of the third to go up 6-2.
• The Yellow Jackets continued extending their lead in the bottom of the fourth with three more runs to lead 9-2. 
• Randolph-Macon added a tenth run in the bottom of the sixth and two more in the seventh to lead 12-2 heading into the eighth frame. 
• A double by Matt Dagostino scored Connor Hall for the Marlins third run but VWU wasn't able score anyone else as they fell to the Yellow Jackets 12-3.

Virginia Wesleyan returns to action on Friday, April 2, when they host the Wasps of Emory & Henry College for an ODAC doubleheader beginning at 1 PM with game two to follow.
