Box Score HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's soccer team fell to the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney College 2-1 in Hampden-Sydney, VA on Sunday evening. The Marlins move to 0-3-2 while the Tigers are now 4-0-0.
GAME INFORMATION
Virginia Wesleyan was aggressive early taking three shots in the first 13 minutes. The Marlins found their first goal of the game in the 30th minute of the game as
Evan Kastetter scored an unassisted goal to give VWU a one-nil lead. The Marlins held the Tigers off the score board the remainder of the half despite three Tiger shots as the teams entered the halftime break with VWU leading 1-0.
Hampden-Sydney knotted the score at one all 22 minutes into the resumption of play as Stefan Ngoh sent the pass from Josiah King into the back of the net. The Tigers were the next to respond breaking the tie on. agoal by Connor Brooks in the 81st minute to give HSC the 2-1 lead.

The Marlins were led by

Griffin Potter played all 90 minutes giving up two goals while making five saves.
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY LEADERS
The Tigers were led by Stefan Ngoh and Connor Brooks each with a goal in the contest. Gray Sutter played all 90 minutes in goal giving up one goal and recording five saves.
