The Virginia Wesleyan University men's soccer team had three members named to the USC All-Region team.
Zach Bittler was named Second Team All-Region and teammates
Aaron Deans and
Josh Nevins were awarded Third Team All-Region.
Bittler had an impressive season, starting and playing all 19 games for the Marlins. Bittler led the Marlins with 10 goals, 4 assists, totaling 24 points, putting him second in the conference in that category. Bittler also had 2 winning goals for the Marlins this season and was a key part of the team's attack.
Deans played and started all 19 games for the Marlins at center back. Deans was a standout on the Marlins' defense, helping the team achieve a .95 scoring percentage by opponents.
Nevins started and played every game for the Marlins this year. Nevins spent the season center back, assisting the team with their skilled defense, which only allowed 18 goals scored by their opponents.
