Box Score LYNCHBURG, Virginia - The No. 6 seeded Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team fell to the No. 2 seeded Hornets of the University of Lynchburg 3-0 in the ODAC Men's Soccer Conference Tournament semifinal match in Lynchburg, VA.

FIRST HALF

• The Hornets struck first as they found a goal off the foot of Luke Vega who scored off a penalty kick in the 23rd minute. 
• Virginia Wesleyan fought to keep Lynchburg from scoring again in the first half holding off nine of their ten shots.

SECOND HALF

• The Hornets scored their second goal nine minutes after the resumption of play taking a 2-0 advantage over the Marlins.
• VWU got off five shots in the second half but could not find the back of the net.
• Lynchburg secured their victory with a third and final goal in the 88th minute to win 3-0. 

KEY STATS

• Scott Signorelli led the Marlins with two shots.
• Griffin Potter played all 90 minutes in the net taking the loss (L: 11-4-4) making eight saves in the contest while also giving up the three goals.
