2015-16 Marlin Tip-Off All-Tournament Team
Senior (2016-17): Served as the starting center for the Marlins as a senior, drawing starts in 27 of 28 games played, all but Senior Day… Contributed 14 points and seven rebounds against Emory & Henry College on November 26… Posted six points with a season-best of 11 rebounds at N.C. Wesleyan on November 28… Tallied eight points, seven rebounds, and four blocks against Lynchburg on January 14… Had seven points, five rebounds, and four steals in a win over Eastern Mennonite on February 1… Led the team with 16 points and seven rebounds at Hampden-Sydney on February 8… Pulled down 11 rebounds in an ODAC First Round victory over Bridgewater on February 20… Led the Marlins with 1.6 blocks per game.
Junior (2015-16): Started all 27 games for the Marlins… Anchored the front line on the offensive and defensive ends… Had five double-doubles on the year… Led the Marlins, and was sixth in the ODAC, with 6.9 rebounds per contest… Had a career day with 20 points and seven rebounds against Bridgewater College on January 20… Filled up the stat sheet against Washington and Lee University on February 13 with 14 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, and five blocks.
Sophomore (2014-15): Moved into a starting role as a sophomore, taking the court in the starting five for 31 of 32 contests played… Second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game… Effective post player, scoring 56.8% of his field goal attempts… Unsung hero in the NCAA Tournament, scoring in double-figures in two of the five contests and three of six to end the year… Posted a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds in the Sweet 16 victory over Dickinson College… Had three double-doubles on the year, two in the NCAA Tournament with the other coming in the ODAC Championship Game.
Freshman (2013-14): Connected for a season-best six points in a 75-46 win at Randolph College, hitting 3-of-3 field goal attempts… Season highs included eight rebounds in the win at Randolph and three blocks in a 79-71 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan College.
Before VWC: Averaged 5.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks per game as a senior for a 26-5 Kecoughtan team that won a district championship.
