Junior (2017-18): Competed in five meets as a junior… Posted a time of 29:05.4 in the Don Cathcart Invitational on September 30… Finished fifth in the ODAC Preview Meet with a time of 28:40.4.
Sophomore (2016-17): Ran in five meets as a sophomore… Posted a time of 28:54.8 in the 8K race at the Don Cathcart Invitational on October 1.
Before VWU: Ran track and cross country while playing basketball at Klahowya Secondary School… All-region and all-state selection in cross country… All-conference pick in basketball… All-region track selection… Graduated with honors… President’s List and honor roll… Eagle Scout.
Personal: The son of Jonathan and Cindy Ward… Has five siblings: Erin, Lindsey, Jenna, Andrew, and Zachary… Transferred from Southern Virginia University.
